October 22, 2010 : 

Lecture presentation and hands on program on Topic: Contemporary Implant Prosthodontics

- Basics of restoring a well-integrated dental implant will be discussed; participants will experience first hand on models dos and don’ts of restoring a dental implant.

Participation is limited to 30, will be on first come first served basis

Speaker: Dr. Peter Glavas, Prosthodontist.
Time: 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm sign in starts at 6:00 pm
Credits: 3 CE credits awarded, dinner is included.

Tuition: Before October 1, 2010 $125, after October 1, 2010 $ 150. Please register online thru paypal. Lesser fee option will not be available after 10/1/10.

All participants will receive a prosthetic kit that includes a short and a long 1.25mm diameter hex driver and a 30Ncms torque wrench free ($250 value.)

Continuing education credits issued for participation in the CE activity may not apply towards license renewal in all states. It is the responsibility of each participant to verify the requirements of his/her state licensing board(s) IDA (USA) Inc. is an ADA CERP provider.

Program:
5:30 – 6:30 pm Sign in and badge distribution.
6:30 – 7:30 pm Hors de oeuvres
7:30 – 9:00 pm Invocation and honoring of dignitaries.
9:00 – Midnight: Dinner, cultural presentations and musical entertainment program by professional singers and live band.

We have made arrangements to accommodate cultural presentations by family members of IDA (USA) members, please send us an email as soon as possible if you would like to have your loved one perform, accommodation is on first come first served basis as space is limited due to time constraints.

For the first time this year we have hired a group of very talented musicians, singers and a live band; there is even a professional emcee to run our event. It seems to be a promising night of lots of food, fun and entertainment. So hurry and register online thru paypal today.

Thomas Ziemiecki DDS, MS (Chapel Hill, North Carolina)

Topic: Restoration of the Endodontically Treated Tooth Using Pins and Posts

This presentation will cover the spectrum of treatment options for the restoration of the endodontically treated tooth. The participant will learn to assess the remaining tooth structure and then apply sound biomechanical principles to then select the most appropriate treatment option. Special emphasis will be given to the more recent development and use of the fiber reinforced posts.

Topic:  Networking: Progress through friendship

Learn how to increase your practice and create long lasting relationships with your patients, other professionals and even family members. Proven techniques of approaching people and presenting yourself for success will be discussed. How to pick and choose your battles with staff and much more will be discussed.

Coffee and lunch break will be provided during the course of the day

A certificate of completion and seven hours of C.E. credits will be awarded to each attendee at the end of course.
